Dr. Bains is a Clinical Psychologist currently practicing under supervised practice with Dr. Moraes at Mindframe.

She provides psychotherapy and psychological assessment services with adults.

Dr. Bains obtained her Doctorate in Health Psychology from Panjab University, India, and had employment in mental health programs in Toronto. She has over a decade of experience delivering psychotherapy and conducting psychological assessments for clients involved in Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA), WSIB, and private practice.

Dr. Bains is trained in evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Her areas of interest include trauma-focused care, depression and anxiety issues, somatic difficulties such as pain, supporting clients through life transitions and injury-related mental health challenges.

Tanesha is a Social Worker and Psychotherapist registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.

She specializes in working with adolescents and families. She has expertise in the criminal justice system working with complex issues affecting youth and families. She provides a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore challenges, strengthen relationships, and build skills for lasting change.

Tanesha often works with adolescents navigating anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, identity development, school-related stress, substance issues, and family or peer relationship concerns. She also supports families to improve their communication, resolve conflict, and to create healthier relationships.

Dr. Moraes (she/her) is the founder of Mindframe Psychology Centre. She is registered in the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario to practice in the following specialty areas: Clinical Psychology, Clinical Neuropsychology and Forensic/Correctional Psychology. She is also registered to practice with the following populations: Children, Adolescents, Adults, Couples and Families.

She has undergraduate degrees in political science/psychology, and social work. She has Master’s degrees in social work and psychology. She obtained her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Fielding University in California with concentrations in Clinical Neuropsychology and Forensic Psychology. Dr. Moraes is a member of the Ontario Psychology Association. She also holds memberships in Clinical Neuropsychology, Forensic Psychology and Sports Neuropsychology.

Dr. Moraes provides psychological assessment and treatment services across the lifespan. She has over 30 years of experience working in a police service, correctional institutions, community mental health agency, hospitals, universities, and in private practices. She has experience providing mental health services across community mental health, primary care, educational, and youth-serving settings. She supports children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation difficulties, behavioural concerns, family conflict, life transitions, school-related challenges, and the impacts of stress. Her clinical interests include working with children, adolescents, families, newcomers, and individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
